The Born Again Identity

This month’s topic is The Born Again Identity, a teaching by Joel Huizing to help you identify with Jesus so that you can be a winner in life, at home and at school.

Some people identify themselves with a sports star or a movie star, others identify with the poor or a political cause.

The believer is to identify him/herself with the Lord in His death, burial, resurrection. ascension and seating in Heavenly places order to be like Jesus and do what He did while on earth.

 

Mission to Europe

Get involved with the Solid Rock Cafe Youth Ministry and qualify for our mission to Europe in the summer of 2010.

Our Mission is called “The Allies are Coming” as we join forces with other youth groups to reach the world, pray for the sick and have fun while we are busy in the Kingdom of God.

Welcome to the Solid Rock Café

The Solid Rock Cafe is Central Alberta’s Youth Centre featuring Youth Church every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30 PM with Joel and Jaime Huizing.

Our goal

Our goal is to bring youth from Religion to Reality through high intense, energy-filled and action-packed meetings.
Youth Church begins with a great time of Praise and Worship featuring the Solid Rock Youth Band with Nekoda and Shallon Renken, followed by funny commercials with Javen Huizing and some contests that will help you pay off your debts to your parents!

Outreaches

You can come along on regular outreaches in Western Canada with the Youth Evangelism team and perform in the Praise and Worship band or be a part of our drama team.
You can also be a part of the dance team, if you like. Every team does its part in creating an action packed outreach service to win people to the Lord, see youth become filled with the Spirit and become fired up for the Lord.

Evangelism

Every month we take you on the streets of Red Deer to witness to people about the Lord and pray with many to become saved and have their needs met.
Through our outreaches you will quickly learn that it is not about you – it is about Jesus!
